I dont know about anyone else but i sure am glad this week is over. it seemed kinda long to me. i had a never ending work load that i just kept putting off making the week seem even longer. i need to become better at completing my tasks when they are given and not waiting until the last possible minute to finish. six straight hours at the library is no fun at all

Sleep

it seems to me that day after day i seem to be getting less and less sleep. the funny thing about it is im usually never tired because of it. either naps are holden' up for me or im an insomniac. Dont get me wrong a love my sleep but not sleeping is just more fun. more time to do stuff.

Meal Plans

Here at ball state I feel that the meal plan set up is bullshit. I feel this way because we sign up for our selected meal plan, pay our money, and then the school tells us if we want to have money to eat a meal we HAVE to eat between this time and that time. That is not how it should work. We payed that money for food we shouldn't get it taken away if we decide not to eat at that particular or cannot make it due to a class. This is just another way for the school to take our money
Its now 7th week into school and i still do not really have a daily agenda. With my days being complete opposites its hard to wake up a decent time everyday to get everything accomplished. My school work always get taken care of, but it takes almost the entire day when I'm not in class.

ISOM

Im currently a business student here at BSU. I am taking ISOM 125, which is suppose to be the intro course to all the ISOM classes. I was told the class was suppose to be about learning microsoft office, but it hasn't been anything close to that. We mostly talk about businesses and information systems and inventory. We have used the computers probably a total of 5 times and now are starting access. Other ISOM students used the computers within the first weeks of school. having covered little material that we are suppose to learn on the computers the mid term is approaching and im unsure what i should do about that class since we haven't been covering the material we are going to be tested over. The first TA we had in class quit, a student in the class said he saw the TA and asked where he had been. the TA told him that he had quit, because the material that we were mainly learning was the warm up questions for the thrid year of ISOM. he then told the student that if he would have know the class was going to be this way he would have advised students to drop the class and take it another time. think i should drop it and take it next semester?

adjusting

we are now into the full swing of college heading into the 7th week. classes have had assignments due and tests given out. i was just wondering how people felt about talking a quiz online, handing in assignments via blackboard, and receiving virtually all information through email. its been a new and at times good learning experience for me, but i wish assignments were handed out in class rather than having to find and print out off of blackboard. that way the criteria of the assignment can be fully understood during class.
